My Constant Conversation With God
God is not messy, but I am. I try to keep up with our Constant Conversations that happen every day and that makes for a messy journal. God is speaking every single day and I am making sure that I have the time to listen up. I hope you don’t mind that this particular post will always be kind of sloppy, it is a relaxed post of sorts, but I guess that is okay because it is very personal, genuine and a place where I put some truly heart changing things for me. The spelling and grammar won’t be right and the format will be pretty crazy, but please overlook it for these posts. I will apologize right now. I am sorry it is not perfect. Everything usually ends up in my personal journal, it is sloppy and fun and I love the heavenly hindsight it provides. I am going to share with you today, a few conversation pieces I had with God during the week. I know you will enjoy it and be blessed by it and I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to you through one of my constant conversations with Him.
Live in true devotion to one another, loving each other as sisters and brothers. Be first to honor others by putting them first. Romans 12:10 The Voice

Let Jesus Be FIRST In Your Life. Make The Sacrifices And Do What It Takes To Close The Gap Between What You Are On The Inside And What You Act Out On The Outside. Be Undivided In Heart.
“Pry your mind away from your problems so you can focus your attention on Me. Recall that I am able to do immeasurably more than all you ask or imagine. Instead of trying to direct Me to do this and that, seek to attune yourself to what I am already doing.” Sarah Young
My Thoughts:
Keep your life focused on Jesus first. Don’t let your mind take you places that slide you further into the world and away from truth.
Quotes To Glean God’s Wisdom And Love
“Our thinking about prayer, whether right or wrong, is based on our own mental conception of it. The correct concept is to think of prayer as the breath in our lungs and the blood from our hearts. Our blood flows and our breathing continues “without ceasing”; we are not even conscious of it, but it never stops. And we are not always conscious of Jesus keeping us in perfect oneness with God, but if we are obeying Him, He always is. Prayer is not an exercise, it is the life of the saint. Beware of anything that stops the offering up of prayer. “Pray without ceasing…”— maintain the childlike habit of offering up prayer in your heart to God all the time.” Oswald Chambers #Prayer #Thoughts #SpiritualHabit

#WednesdayWillNever~No earthly power is permanent or can hold up past finite. #Jesus IS. His power will never be lost to us.
Because we are “IN CHRIST” there are a lot of #WednesdayWillNever things we can think on today. Like this one: God WILL NEVER abandon us.
Deuteronomy 31: 6-8 Be strong and brave, and don’t tremble in fear of them, because the Eternal your God is going with you. He’ll never fail you or abandon you! Then Moses spoke to Joshua, with all of Israel looking on. Moses: Be strong and brave! You’re going to lead these people into the land the Eternal promised their ancestors He’d give them. You’ll give it to them, and they’ll give it to their descendants. And He will be leading you. He’ll be with you, and He’ll never fail you or abandon you. So don’t be afraid! The Voice #HELD
#WednesddayWillNever Nothing can keep us from our God. Our enemy will never keep us from the Love of Jesus. #Jesus #Healer #Deliverer #Savior
#WednesdayWillNever What line of thinking do my thoughts take? Do I turn to what God says or to my own fears? Am I simply repeating what God says, or am I learning to truly hear Him and then to respond after I have heard what He says? “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’ ” (Hebrews 13:5-6). “I will never leave you…”— not for any reason; not my sin, selfishness, stubbornness, nor waywardness. Have I really let God say to me that He will never leave me? If I have not truly heard this assurance of God, then let me listen again. Author Oswald Chambers #HELD
Mercy waits for our honesty, because God will never stop pursuing us. He wants to heal the divide between us and live with us in His wholly-holy kind of way where we are free in Him. God will never give up on us, His mercy is waiting for our confession of honesty, for our repentance of our sin.#WednesdayWillNever #HELD#ListenUP

#ListenUp To #TheBridegroomsVoice He has so much to say to us. In week eight of the book, The Bridegroom’s Voice, Jesus speaks to us in such an incredible, revelatory way what Holy Ground is and how it benefits us in times such as these.
#MyGroomsmansJournal
“Holy Ground is a place where there is power as we speak out about Jesus and His truth. We can’t wait to be His mouth piece, we can’t wait for things to be perfect in our world. Our Holy Ground in the Presence of Jesus, walking with Him, this is perfect as perfect as perfect will ever be. There is a perfect love found on the Holy Ground of God’s Presence.” KimberlyMac
#MyGroomsmansJournal
“God’s Holy Ground is a place of fearlessness, of courage and is a perfect platform to stand on as you share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Holy Ground is our place of hope and promise. We have a future and a hope and Jesus, the Presence of our Holy Ground, He is the righteousness that bridges the gap between our flesh and our eternal future with God. In our relationship with God, we have so much joy as we pursue our crown of righteousness that has been promised to us for our faithful and victorious finish to our life race of faith.” KimberlyMac

“In times such as these, where immorality and lawlessness are washing up on shore of our soul, by the incoming tides of cultural say so, where right is said to be wrong and wrong is said to be right, we need the discernment we receive in our personal relationship with Jesus, in His Presence on Holy Ground. We can hear God’s truth, and receive the daily Kingdom insight we need to walk securely on the side of God’s truth. There is a craftiness of deceit during this era that we can be easily swept up in and led astray so quickly, we must guard our hearts as we step out on Holy Ground, under the authority, wisdom and guidance of our Bridegroom’s Voice. In every great challenge given to us in this life, God is in the challenge, His purpose in the challenge will ALWAYS be greater than the challenge itself. This is why I don’t shirk from the challenges brought my way, I just look for the “God purpose” in them, find it and cling to it and ride out the Great God Adventure until the endgame is revealed by His amazing glory. “If He does not support us, not one of us is safe from some gross sin. On the other hand, no possible degree of holiness or heroism which has ever been recorded of the greatest saints is beyond what He is determined to produce in every one of us in the end. The job will not be completed in this life: but He means to get us as far as possible before death.” C.S. Lewis #SaturdaySupport #HELD
Prayer Points By Alvin VanderGriend
Harvest Prayer Ministry~Prayer Points
Praise God as the provider and sustainer of all things (Ps. 145:15-16). Give thanks for the tenderness and the care that the Lord gives to the creatures that he has made (145:8-9). Confess those times this past week when you have forgotten to look on other people or other parts of God’s world with the same love that is in God’s heart. Commit yourself to treating others with the same compassion as God does. Ask God to fill your heart with his care, concern, and tenderness.
Pray for families in which the parents are too busy to really listen and respond to their children’s needs. Ask God to help them set their priorities in line with his will for their families.

2 Samuel 2:12-3:39; John 13:1-30; Psalms 119:1-16; Proverbs 15:29-30 (New International Version)
30 (Joab and his brother Abishai murdered Abner because he had killed their brother Asahel in the battle at Gibeon.)
My Thoughts:
Revenge just snowballs and snowballs until someone has the courage to stop it.
John 13:6-17 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” 7 Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” 8 “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” 9 “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!” 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
My Thoughts:
It struck me hard in my spirit when I read Jesus’ response to Peter. Humility is a huge part of our relationship with Jesus and without it, there is no real relationship starter. The all consuming passion of Jesus begins and ends with humility. We should be washed in humility and wash others through our humility.

“What you can’t go through, God will help you fly over.” – Quote By Woodrow Kroll
The one day of the week I struggle to contain my moody soul emotions, I sometimes call it my #MelancholyMonday. It was a great weekend and I always find myself wanting to slip into the melancholy on Monday. Do you all do that too? Sometimes I just want to stay in bed on Monday, the alarm goes off and I feel like, Oh, do I have to go through this day. But as I slip out of bed and fall to my knees and bow before God, giving Him my life, my fleshly melancholy is kicked out and my self control, empowered by God. is kicked in and I know God will help me fly over this day with ease. Only God can. #HELD
I know we can do it. We can change up our #MelancholyMonday by the strength, power and wisdom of God we can be: Proverbs 15: 30 Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones. #HELD
“We invite you Holy Spirit to lead us to where there is good news, help us to seek out good news. Rather then dwelling on the constant chaos swirling around humanity and we can find bad news easily, we want to look for the morsels of good news, look for the Kingdom of God at work in this world. We want to be the Kingdom at work in this world. Lead us Holy Spirit to be a bright eyed messenger providing good news and joy to those we speak too.” Brian Hardin, Daily Audio Bible Commentary #MelancholyMonday

Precious children, One thing Dad and I do weekly is pray for our marriages, that God blesses our relationship with each other and makes us best friends through thick and thin. Have a great week. May God bless our marriages, may we be a three strand cord. Jesus, Husband, Wife, that is not easily broken by this world. May the Holy Spirit teach us to be “best friends” with each other in Jesus name. AMEN.

A Seasoned Servant Of God Encouraged Me
Devotionals Daily: Vocation: Glorifying God by Serving Others by Tim Challies and Josh Byers from Visual Theology
Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. — 1 Corinthians 7:17
“This instruction implies that God has made each of us uniquely and assigned to us unique lives with unique roles. Our responsibility before God is to understand the gifts, the skills, and the passions He has given us and to use those in fitting ways — in ways that do good to others and, in turn, bring glory to God.” Tim Challies and Josh Byers
“God could have arranged the world in such a way that He would do all of these good things Himself. Instead, He assigned them to human beings, so you do this work on His behalf. It is God’s work completed through human beings.” Gene Edward Veith
“Your vocation is your day-by-day opportunity to glorify God by serving others and, in that way, serve as a faithful representative of the God who glorifies Himself by serving others. The dignity of work does not come from the amount of skill necessary to do the job. It does not come from the importance of that work for the functioning of a nation or society. The dignity of work comes from the source of that work, which is always God Himself. No matter what your vocations are, they all carry the same great purpose: to do good to others and bring glory to God.” Authors~Tim Challies and Josh Byers
Wisdom Hunters: Boyd Baily http://wisdomhunters.com
Late one afternoon, after his midday rest, David got out of bed and was walking on the roof of the palace. As he looked out over the city, he noticed a woman of unusual beauty taking a bath. 2 Samuel 11:2, NLT
“Leaders who rise in their responsibilities at work require more—not less accountability. When someone believes no one is watching their behavior, their behavior can quickly become corrupted. Autonomy is not an excuse for sloppy living, but an opportunity to expand service to others and to grow in grace and humility. If a person trusts themselves alone to be alone, without any moral guardrails—they are set up for pride’s fall—humility chooses to be accountable.” Boyd Baily #WisdomHunters http://wisdomhunters.com
Luke 8:17
For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
Proverbs 6:11 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.
Proverbs 12:15 The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.
1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God. New International Version
My Thoughts:
Accountability is such good wisdom. Thank you for that reminder. I pray our culture with all of its divisive hide and seek games, where our outer façade and inner reality is a huge gap, will begin to change. God change us, help us to fully face YOU, help the Light of Your life shine on us in such a way that all truth is revealed and we become a people who are straight with one another, vulnerable and accountable in our weaknesses, allowing You to be the glory of our strength. Jesus. Let it #BeSo
