Jesus, Living Word! Dig Deeper In Psalm 1-2
But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.
What Is God Saying To Me Through Psalm 1:2
Listen up FOCUS, I want your full attention. Don’t let the mockers and scorners, those who falsely condemn you, be the center of your soul, sweep that out, and let Me and My Living and transforming Word be at the center of your soul. Be careful who you let speak into your life. Let Me be the One you delight hearing from. My Word is worth the meditating day and night, it will transform you in that way only I can. Sometimes it is your best choice to not give permission for people who are known deceivers to even have the opportunity to speak into your life at all. This is my wisdom for you, to enjoy My Word first, before anything else speaks into your heart, let it be My Word. Jesus.
Fatherly Advice From God
I am more important, My truth more important to you than anything else you hear. I am even more important than what your heart is praying for. BUT… what I have to say to you is more important because it is the purity of truth and powerfully transforming. Knowing Me and My Word, is of upmost importance, everything else is second. Your Father God.

Commentary From Bible Hub On Psalm 1:2
- Meditation here implies a deep, continuous reflection and internalization of God’s Word.
- The Law of the LORD is not merely a set of rules but a revelation of God’s character and will.
- This meditation is not passive, but transformative, aligning one’s life with God’s will, much like how Jesus, the Word made flesh, lived in perfect obedience to the Father.
- A continuous commitment to God’s Word is essential. This implies integrating Scripture into daily life, allowing it to guide decisions and actions.
From Psalm 1:2 What Is On My Heart?
Father God, without You as my first priority, my engagement with Your word is meaningless in that worldly viewpoint kind of way. I hope to know Your Kingdom perspective. I hope for personal relationship impassioned by Awe and reverence of You as I delight in Your Word. If Your Holy Spirit highlights something in the Word, I will take note, I will write it in my journal, recite it, get it deep down in my heart, pray it, and declare it for my life. I know without a doubt, our relationship is deeper because of Your Living Word, and I will take joy in Your Words to me, I will be in a conversation with You and Your living Word all throughout my day.
Gratitude Prayer In Response To Psalm 1:2
I am so grateful for Your Living Word, it has changed me in ways, I never thought possible. I am grateful for the clarity and peace Your Word leaves in my soul. I am so very thankful to be able to have a conversation with You in Your Word every time I open my Bible, I am so thankful to be navigated by Your Word as I make my way through this season where my culture, is very chaotic. I will never take for granted being navigated by Your Word, I will always be thankful for those times I open the Word of God and You speak light and truth into my dark world and light the path of my next step. Jesus, Thank you for the delight of being led by Your Word.
