The Lord thundered and our enemies have been cut off, vanished in everlasting ruins. All their cities have been destroyed— even the memory of them has been erased. But Yahweh, our mighty God , reigns forever! He sits enthroned as King ready to render his verdicts and judge all with righteousness. He will issue his decrees of judgment, deciding what is right for the entire world, dispensing justice to all. All who are oppressed may come to Yahweh as a high shelter in the time of trouble, a perfect hiding place. For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. Psalms 9:6-10
When Mankind Is Deplorable ~ We Hope In God
There are so many crazy things happening as the human condition spirals downward with no brakes. Evil begets evil and it seems to have no filter anymore. It is shocking how far the human race has fallen! When we think it can’t get any worse, it does. It is easy in dark times such as these, to fall into a pit of hopelessness, to let discouragement turn into a dark despairing soul. Hope is an anchor that will hold us as we remember the cross of Jesus Christ, our Deliverer, Who came to us to die our death so we could live His Life. Hope lights up our dark soul with fires of courage, peace, truth and faith. Hope in Jesus. Hope in His Promises. Hope in knowing Jesus will finish what He started in us and we will experience the victory He has already won. Dig your life roots deeply in Jesus, and anchor yourself to Him in times such as these. Jesus is an anchor of hope that will hold us.
“God is bigger than our heart and He can shape it for His own purposes. People who are far away from God, God can soften their hearts. God is sovereign over sin and hearts and no one is beyond His reach, it is never too late for anyone. God is enough. He is sovereign over the sins of man, His sovereignty extends over the evil of our hearts and actions. Even sin bends to God’s will, it does not thwart God’s plan. Our Father God is outside of time, He knew all the things we would not do well, He is working it all out. ” Tara Leigh Cobble
On that day explain to your son, ‘This is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ Let it serve as a sign for you on your hand and as a reminder on your forehead, so that the Lord ’s instruction may be in your mouth; for the Lord brought you out of Egypt with a strong hand. Ex. 13:8-9
God Will Deliver Us From Evil
Yes, that strong hand of God, that delivering hand of God, remember it and all the lessons you grew through as He saved and delivered you from the enemy of your soul. Thank you Jesus. May we always be grateful, because everything in our life comes from You. May we always stand in AWE of that strong hand which delivers us from the plans of our enemy, and thwarts the bad intentions of evil against us. Jesus. Thank you.
In the future, when your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ say to him, ‘By the strength of his hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the place of slavery. They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness. The Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to lead them on their way during the day and in a pillar of fire to give them light at night, so that they could travel day or night. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never left its place in front of the people. Exodus 13:14;20-22
Trust = Thriving Hope
God is trustworthy! God never leaves us. Jesus takes us out from the reach of our enemy and thwarts his plans. God goes before us, and keeps us from the ambush of our enemy, as we navigate a corrupted culture which has a human sickness of knowing no power higher than self. Self-powered is an illegitimate supremacy deluded by a fake reality. Only God is Supreme, And His Supremacy Will Never Corrupt! We can trust God’s Supremacy over us, His Rulership of Love. God is positioned with us and for us, and will never leave this place of Sovereignty over us. When mankind continues to serve no power higher than self, God faithfully and sovereignly reaches for us, to protect us in His Mighty Right Hand. We are never out of God’s reach. God has the farthest reach, and His Will is not thwarted by the enemy. No weapon formed against us will prosper. You can hope in, trust in, and count on this promise. Hope thrives when trust leads. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement video which will give you a 1 minute glimpse of the beautiful, amazing hope of God.
The Anchor Of Our Hope Is Jesus
Our Anchor Holds! Hope rises in us as we focus on Jesus, and we begin to rise above our dread. Hope is so freeing! Soar on the wings of hope, take flight in God’s hope, stepping out on the strong foundation of Hope in Him. God’s hope will not fail us, this anchor will hold. I hope, we are all strengthen and impassioned by God’s Hope, the root of our joy, and the energy of our lives. As we glide through the life storms in our lives, on the wings of God’s Providential Care, we know that hope is our purposeful destiny, as Jesus is our promised future. May God bless you and yours and soul saturate you in His hope.
We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself. Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us. He is now and forever our royal Priest like Melchizedek. So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakable hope! Hebrews 6:18-20
