Refresh Your Soul
I have found that as we get older, Senior Women, our soul requires more quiet, it is the stillness that refreshes our soul with joy and joy is our strength. We live in a crazy, chaotic world and sometimes that breeds confusion in our soul and our mind starts reacting to the chaos with the inability to think well. We need to refresh our soul with joy in times such as these. As we get older, chaos seems to rob from us more than we would like to admit. We need that daily replenishment infusion of God’s joy that settles our soul in the peace of God.
Seek Soul Stillness
Joy can be loud and joy can be still, quiet, and peaceful. Peace is found in so many places, especially in the beauty of a quiet ocean wave, or you can find it in the stillness of your soul, where quiet joy rests on belief in God, like a boat rests on a still ocean.
Wholly-Holy Trust
Trust is a huge, important component of having a quiet joy. Yes, it is hard for us Seniors to trust when all of our lives we have enjoyed the National covering of a great Constitution, a safe nation with strong borders, and freedom that rang for liberty for all! We enjoyed the security of the reality of truth when evil was evil and good was good. Legal was legal, and illegal was illegal. When all this is eroding before our eyes, everything we have known is shaking and eroding, we must breathe in God, we must trust Him. Trust is also very necessary for peace and joy. As we “Wholly-Holy” Trust in our God, this infuses our soul with peace and quiet joy, as we sit in the Presence of God, positioned underneath the Rulership of His love, in quiet trust with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Just Breathe, Breathe In God, His Way, Truth, Life.
Listen Up For Heavenly Hindsight
Simple quiet joy as the SON-light of God shines out of the joy in our soul, with with God harmony that comes from simply-significantly knowing God loves us, and rehearsing the heavenly-hindsight of experiencing His Providential Care, where He is working and has worked for our good and His glory.
Side Step Opinions – Stand With Truth
Yes, we are cared for, always and forever, and we are gifted with God’s Presence in our lives as His Holy Spirit is our sweet Advocate, with us and for us. When the society we live in gets loud and chaotic with everyone’s opinions strewn everywhere, it leaves us no where to find peace. But God, our peace, does not give us opinions ever… He gives us truth and truth shatters the darkness of chaos with HIS SHALOM.
Fear Not – Look Up
As we get older, the life storms we encounter seem to unsettle us and make us feel very vulnerable. So, it is good to know that even when a storm on the horizon looks menacing, we look away from it and look up to God. We get our confidence and comfort from God’s Holy Spirit, and He gives us a trust that no life storm can’t disturb. In Christ Jesus, we have that quiet joy of heart to heart communion, where trust is flowing, and the Spirit of Truth is always present to stabilized any fear about the life storms that are popping up.
“My bride, will you change your course when life gets tough and the violent winds of your generation fiercely whirl doubts around your heart? Spend more time with Me. I will teach you to not be intimidated by deceptive fears and negative thoughts. I will teach you how to sidestep the tornados that suddenly arise in your path and I will give you the wisdom to stand safely outside these temporary whirlwinds of your enemy until they spin out. Rise above the clamor of these unsettled days and see beyond your panic into My steadfast eyes. Fully face your AWE-GOD! Today, I ask you to totally surrender the helm of your life to Me and let Me chart your course. Let your first call be to Me. Abide in My love!” The Bridegroom’s Voice
We Have A Comforter
The Holy Spirit is such a comfort when our life path runs right into circumstances that we don’t think we can navigate at our age, and our faith begins to feel shaky. Yes, at times such as these “Our Comforter” gives us that sweet, quiet joy that leaves us strongly anchored with a God strengthened faith. Our trustworthy God can always be counted on, and is always all about TRUTH, and His truth will never not stabilize us, as it is faithful to always lead us in God’s truth, way, will, and life.
Great God Adventure
It is a Great God Adventure to sidestep all the pits and traps of our enemy. Oh, the joy of our spiritual warfare prayer that is answered in that way we never expected, miraculously so. Jesus Is Our Enough! As we praise God for fighting for us, for taking care of us, this seeds faith into our quiet joy. We do live in a changing, unsettled, chaotic culture, AND YET, here we are with quiet joy found in the sweet surrender of wholly-holy trusting God. Yes, even when we have no earthly understanding of our current life storms, and we can’t even begin to wrap our mind around what God is doing, we can have that quiet soul joy. How? When we silently submit to our God, with quiet joy, and in our life storms, we choose to shelter in place, positioning ourselves underneath the Authority of His Love, we stay in the Presence of His Refuge, waiting in Him, and riding out these violent storms in our culture with our trust wholly-holy in God. YES, We can have a beautiful “quiet joy” even in the cultural chaos, as we exercise our activated faith, in the things not seen, but hoped for in Christ Jesus. Listen up to what our Bridegroom, Jesus as to say:
“I will not forsake you. I will not leave you. I will never abandon you, even if it feels like all hell is breaking loose, I AM! Church, I am your living sanctuary, your place of safety; I am your anchor in the storm. You will survive this wild tempest of your generation, this lawless rage of immorality seeded by the excessive self-indulgence of this culture! You will endure not by your personal ingenuity, skill or experience, but by My Spirit, wisdom, grace, discernment and power. I AM! Yes, I AM allowing the progression of this tempest toward the horizon of mankind. Yes, I AM in the whirlwind. I AM controlling the velocity, direction and outcome of this storm! My bride, nothing will touch you that I have not preordained with great Kingdom Purpose. The fury of the cyclone will rage, and it will not be unbridled! I know at times it will be more than you feel you can handle, yet if you remain in Me and stay attached to My heart, you will endure and you will prevail with a beautiful spirit of joy. I hope huge you, My bride will be My conquering champion with beauty that has the Spirit of God etched in its soul!” The Bridegroom’s Voice
The Radiance Of Hope
Quiet JOY is the radiance of a God hope, that stills anxiety, fear and dread and rests us in His perfect peace, as we completely surrender and trust God. Senior Women, I pray this for us:
Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! Romans 15:13
