Increasing Our Faith
We all have hopes and dreams and are probably waiting on God for things we have asked Him to make a way for. Faith, it is the substance of things hoped for, but not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) So, in light of this truth, we know that we can’t focus on the negative circumstances, because where our focus is, there our soul goes. Faith or Doubt? When we stay out of our mind thoughts, where the enemy likes to send fiery doubt darts, and focus on Jesus, His way, truth, and life, this leans us into an active faith that increases in the mighty enduring power of God and He gives us the strength to patiently endure. Consistent Faith
We need to keep a consistent faith walk even in the midst of adversity. It is true, yes, it takes consistent faith, a constancy of holding up the shield of faith (Ephesians 6) to fight off the deception of our time and the enemy who loves to throw darts of doubt our way. Lies sting us in their trickery and when we take up an offense because of false accusations, this can lead us to the endgame of the enemy of our soul, (John 10:10) to kill, steal our freedom and destroy our relationship with God.
Say No To Offense: BibleHub Commentary: “The concept of taking offense in Scripture often centers around the term “stumbling block,” derived from the Greek word “skandalon” (e.g., Matthew 18:7). This notion refers both to causing someone else to sin and to experiencing personal indignation or hurt. In practical terms, it covers moments when individuals feel slighted, wronged, or annoyed. Scripture portrays the offense as a serious matter, not merely a passing emotion. Offense can break down relationships, hinder growth in faith, and create divisions within a community. Thus, the Bible repeatedly calls believers to pursue unity, protect one another’s consciences, and guard their hearts against resentment. Cultivate Humility: Ephesians 4:2-3 instructs, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” A humble approach reduces the likelihood of taking or giving offense.”
Our Father, Hallowed Be Thy Name
Active Faith in praise, prayer and believing is what we want, so how do we keep it consistently and freely moving throughout our lives? Look at the Lord’s Prayer. Our Father, (Matthew 6:9-13) Who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Active Faith is honoring, respecting and reverencing God, and knows with great AWE the power of His name, and worships His name in faith declarations, songs, praise and prayer. The name of Jesus is powerful and no name is Higher, no King Higher or more worthy of our praise and faith!
Our Enemy Has No Permission To Speak To Us
Faith asks God and believes that He will give us daily what we need, that He will equip us by His purposeful provision on this day. Give us this day our daily bread. Faith prays without ceasing, specifically praying for us and others God has put on our hearts. We pray, interceding with our hearts wholly-holy aligned with God’s Will. Yes, we are heart to heart with God, our soul is engaged with His Holy Spirit, and that means we do not allow doubt, but we resists “the enemy cackle” challenging the lies with God’s truth, and denying the enemy permission to speak. Yes, while waiting on God to answer prayer, there is “no doubt about it”, we know God has heard, and we are patiently enduring as we wait submissively in faith, trust, and belief in Him. It doesn’t matter if the news keeps getting worse, or our worldly viewpoint is not lining up with our prayers, we stay wholly-holy aligned in faith with God’s Kingdom Perspective, His Truth. This bold faith denies the enemy of our soul any permission to speak into our lives. Period. None!
Focus On A Kingdom Perspective
What increases our faith? Well, it is not focusing on our worldly viewpoint that our enemy keeps bringing up, this decreases our ability to exercise our faith. Knowing God better, yielding our lives to Him, this is a Kingdom Perspective that helps our faith, and increases its output in doubtless belief and wholly-holy trust. Thy Kingdom Come, They Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven. This is a sweet surrender. God, You know what is best for me, You know me like no other knows me, so what You bring to my life, is what is best for me today. I believe in Your plan for me, because I know Your purposes are in play in the unseen for my good and Your glory. Faith has a focus (Hebrews 12:2) and that is Jesus Christ, and His Kingdom perspective!
Navigated By God’s Holy Spirit
When we are focused on Jesus, Who is our answer, we boldly ask and pray: “deliver us from temptation and evil”, and we know He can, as we yield our lives to Him, tune out our worldly viewpoint, and listen up to God’s Holy Spirit and Truth. It is true when we yield to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we will, “no doubt about it”, surrender our will, to His navigation of our life, and yes, God’s Holy Spirit will guide us in that we could never have imagined. God Wins!
“Church, where there is hope, there is strength, peace, and joy. Find your hope in Me and live your life from the inside out. Don’t take the external, with all its confusion and anxiety, inside to your inner man. Instead, be found in My presence during the tempest and anchor your spirit to the hope that is found in Me. Keep your hope alive in the midst of the storms of life by finding My presence and sitting submissively still in it. I AM your place of refuge, your shelter. Dig deeper and don’t be governed by your feelings, but be spirit-led by My truth, knowing I am almighty God. I am mighty to save.” The Bridegroom’s Voice
