O Lord , I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. You turn mighty cities into heaps of ruins. Cities with strong walls are turned to rubble. Beautiful palaces in distant lands disappear and will never be rebuilt. Therefore, strong nations will declare your glory; ruthless nations will fear you. But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord , a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. For the oppressive acts of ruthless people are like a storm beating against a wall, or like the relentless heat of the desert. But you silence the roar of foreign nations. As the shade of a cloud cools relentless heat, so the boastful songs of ruthless people are stilled. Isaiah 25:1-5
Sin Sick People
Why do people want to hurt people? Why do some people think that they have the right to do evil things that target human beings so they can depopulate the earth? I can’t wrap my mind around why people want to hurt innocent children, to sexually and physically abuse them? We live in a world where some human beings are so very sin sick, because they are serving no power higher than self. It can be a very scary time for families as these sin-sick people are trying to abolish the nuclear family and they think and have said that our children are their children to instruct and train up in their evil ways. We revoke the permission of the enemy to speak into the lives of our children and grandchildren in Jesus name. We know we can’t live in this cultural chaos without your navigation. We cling to You. We ask You, Father God to be a refuge of protection, defending our children and grandchildren by the shield of Your Truth. We say: NO! Jesus, Defend Our Family
We pray You, Lord Jesus, would defend our family from the evil plans and intentions of sin-sick people. Put Your hedge of protection around our nuclear family, protect our children and grandchildren, protect their innocence and guide us as parents to be navigated by Your Holy Spirit in times such as these. Help us to turn to You in all things, praying, asking, and knowing that there is nothing the enemy does that is not irreversible in You. Nothing is irreversible in Christ Jesus, we raise this truth as a banner over each family member. We pray for you, Jesus to be our defense, to stand in front of our family, keeping the enemy at bay.
Side-Stepping Around Grey Zones
The enemy wants to steal our light and create deceptive “grey zones” for us to drift into so he can trap us in deception and take us captive in a strong hold. We need the navigation of the Holy Spirit as we are growing through these times so we can side step these traps set by our enemy, these “grey zones” where the enemy wants to steal the light of truth from our family. Deception is at an all time high in our culture. If we depend upon our own understanding, we could walk deeper into the darkness the enemy has formed against the nuclear family, as he tries to steal the light of truth from our families through his crafty schemes of false narrative and fake reality. Jesus, Our Refuge
Father God, I pray for my family, I call each of their names out to You, knowing You are our Refuge, our Defender, and our Protector! Father God, I ask you to come with Your glorious power and save our family from the evil designs of the enemy of our soul. Deny access to my family to people who are heartless, ruthless, and seek to kill, steal and destroy us. Jesus deliver us from this kind of careless evil, be our Divine Helper, a strong place of refuge for our family.
I pray with great faith for you , because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ! Philippians 1:6
Spirit And Truth
Jesus lean into the heart of each one of my family members and restore the rhythm of their heart beat with the truth of God. Sanctify them with Your Truth. Jesus, cause us to lean out of our understanding and acknowledge you in every way. I pray our family will offer ourselves freely to You, Lord God, giving You everything that we are, yielding to You, and stepping willingly and wisely into the refuge of Your Spirit and Truth. May we be a family restored to worship, transformed by Your Word and soul captivated by Your love, being found in praise of Your Name, first. Keep us precious in Your eyes Lord as we take refuge in You.
God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence. Psalms 46:1-3
Saved From Evil
Father God, through You, our family is saved from the evil intentions of sick people, and rescued out of every trouble that evil people have played against us. You are our refuge, our strong tower against the enemy. There is nothing that You can’t reverse, Lord Jesus. Reverse every evil intention that our family members have unintentionally stepped into and help us see the defeat of our enemies plan. Help us Jesus, to triumph over our enemies. Bless our family with Your favor and success over the enemy of our soul. Jesus. Let it be so. Protect This Family From Deception And Every Form Of Evil. Amen.
Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely holy. Dig Deeper In Prayer And God’s Word
Lord Jesus, Your Children Are Not For Sale! You said that when the enemy comes in like a flood, against our family, that the Spirit of God will raise a standard against him! (Isa.59:19) But You also said that we, our family should do OUR part. You said, “RESIST the Enemy and he shall flee from thee!” (Jam.4:7) I pray each of us in our family, we all will be found “FIGHTING the good fight of faith! — Resisting our adversary the Devil!” Lord help us to trust completely in YOU, Lord Jesus, to deliver our family from our enemy and all of his devices! 1Tim.6:12; 1Pet.5:9.

Pray Up God’s Word
Do you think the Scripture means nothing? It says, “The Spirit that God made to live in us wants us for himself alone.” But God gives us even more grace, as the Scripture says, “God is against the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.” Proverbs 3:34 So give yourselves to God. Stand against the devil, and the devil will run away from you. Come near to God, and God will come near to you. You are sinners. So clean sin out of your lives. You are trying to follow God and the world at the same time. Make your thinking pure. Be sad, cry, and weep! Change your laughter into crying. Change your joy into sadness. Humble yourself before the Lord, and he will honor you. James 4:5-10
