Flip It

Created-Saved To Serve

There are so many things in our culture that will influence our behavior if we don’t guard our hearts and stay in a vital-vertical relationship with Jesus. We need to be intentionally kingdom cultured by His Word, and listen up for the Navigation of His Holy Spirit. God knows exactly what we need to strengthen our inner spiritual core. God sees our inner heart, the part of us, no one knows but Him. Jesus is the Savior and we are the servant. When we flip-flop this, we try to save and we are not equipped to do so, and this is when we know failure. We need to stick to what we were created for, to serve God and each other in love, kindness, hope and faith. We were not created to save, there is only one Servant Savior and He is Jesus. We are not the Savior, we are servants of the Savior. If you have positioned yourself wrongly, flip it, be the servant, serve the Savior.

Matthew 9:11-13 But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum? 12 When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.” 13 Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” New Living Translation

Flip It To Mercy

We do not truly understand the mercy and grace of God. In our human nature we want things to balance out in the just and right kind of way. We are constantly at work making things fair, and it is exhausting. Mercy disrupts the balance of our human justice. We like it when guilty people are punished, we feel that is just and right. But God at times, He takes the sentencing in a different direction, because His Son already died for all of our punishment. This is why we need to flip it, the cultural say so that all wrongs need to be righted, flip it to a focus on the reality of God’s truth, which the Holy Spirit is so ready and willing to teach us, to intentionally kingdom culture us. God sometimes blesses those who we feel, should not be blessed. Why? This is the Mercy of God and it works from the inside out. This is the purpose of God in play, which sometimes we can’t wrap our mind around. God sees the heart of the sinner, separating it from the symptoms of the sinner. Sometimes, someone’s head can be so messed up from the things they have been through in this world, that they act wrongly. The Mercy of God responds to the heart seen by God, not the head heard by us. God knows that if a person’s heart is pursuing Him, but their head is messed up, He will work on their heart first. This kind of mercy is not indicative of our culture, so we need to flip it, to a kingdom culture thinking, being intentionally kingdom cultured by God, the One who does see our inner heart in a way no one else can.

1 Corinthians 13:7-12 Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up. Perfect Love~ Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. 9 Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, 10 but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways. 12 For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries[h] as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. TPT

Only God Knows The Heart Of Men

God knows that the longest distance is from our head to our heart. He knows when He heals the heart, the mind will follow, and sin patterns will cease as the purified and healed heart begins to lead over the mind and damaged soul-emotions. That is why at times we don’t agree with God blessing someone we think doesn’t deserve it. We can’t see their heart the way God can, we just see the result of their messed-up head actions. This is why some of God’s ways, just are not our ways. Life is never fair, we can’t figure it out, we can’t balance it because we only see in part. The way of God’s Love, is very much a display of kingdom culture, it is a perfect love that forces out fear, heals and purifies our hearts. It angers us at times when the bad deeds of a person seem to go unnoticed by God. We naturally assume: Why do they seem to benefit from all the evil they are doing? Yet, truth says, nothing is unnoticed by God, He knows all, He knows the inner heart of mankind. Therefore, we flip-it, what our culture influences us to believe to what God’s Truth says. We trust that God is a God of mercy and justice and in His purposeful way, in the timing that benefits His Kingdom most, He will act.

A Message Out Of A Mess

Miracles of the heart, they travel to the head, and make Godly messages out of our messes. If it were up to us, we would punish, tit for tat. But God, He shows mercy, in that miraculous way of His, He shows grace to those who do not deserve it. This grace received is a power of healing, renewal and transformation like no other. Jesus took our punishment. Why do we think God would punish when Mercy leads to miraculous transformation? We want sinners to be punished, we want them to suffer for what they have done, but the truth is, Jesus already suffered for them. So, when God lifts the consequences off of a sinner, we cry “foul” but God cries “mercy”! The result of mercy given is always miraculous transformation. God knows this. The head of a sinner may be totally messed up, but the Word of God is written on their hearts and they were made in the image of God, so God reaches for their heart, mercifully so. And when God has their heart, He cleans up the mess in their mind, which leads to godly behavior. If you don’t understand why God does things the way He does and you can’t wrap your mind around His ways, flip it, your life, give God total access for you to be intentionally kingdom cultured by His Holy Spirit.

No Power Higher Than Self

We should all take note, that this is how far you can fall when you “know no power higher than self”. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely and it just keeps taking you down further and further until it completely strips from you all self-dignity, all respect, all of the good potential you could have. It is sad to watch the demise of a person caught up in illegitimate authority. I want to just rip them a new one, but I have flipped it, my worldly viewpoint for a Kingdom Perspective. So instead of loudly and harshly judging, condemning and accusing, I pray for them, my heart of compassion prays for them, that God would reach this one, change up their heart, return them back to Him, to real authority, real power that constitutes the reality of truth in our lives. I can’t change someone’s heart through my words, but I can pray for a “Godly Appeal” for God to speak truth with love through me. These are the divine appointments where God does change up the hearts and brings a message out of a messy life. God can do it, we must “flip it” our dependence off of ourselves and put it on God. Listen up. Stop leaning on our culture experiences and lean into God’s Sovereign Sway. This is the fast lane of life, where God Adventures happen miraculously so.

Proverbs 16:10-12 The lips of a king speak as an oracle, and his mouth does not betray justice 11 Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord; all the weights in the bag are of his making. 12 Kings detest wrong doing, for a throne is established through righteousness. NIV

God Balances The Fairness Scale

A lot of people in times such as these live out of a fake reality, they have become deceived by opening up their mind to one too many false narratives. The enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy, he is doing that to them, because they have given him permission to speak into their lives and he does, stealing everything good, honorable and respectful from them. It could be us; we have that same human condition as those we know who are deceived; we could end up the same if we let a root of bitterness over their deceitful ways destroy us. Be careful, flip it your reaction for a kingdom response. These angry mobs in times such as these, teach us much. Be careful we have the same human condition and oh, how far we can Careful! Be, learn the intentional kingdom culture of being wise as serpents and gentle hearted as doves. Our response to wrong is right in that fruit of the spirit, self-controlled kind of way, a speaking of the truth with love, that comes only through the empowerment of God. God loves what is right, and the fairness, the recompense for wrong doing, the balance of justice, mercy and purpose is weighed on His Kingdom Scales. Lean into God’s Sovereign sway and you will see His endgame is always planned with purposes in play in the unseen, right now, that will timely play out for justice, right and fairness to win out in the end, for the stand of truth to rise above all, bringing to us and glory to His Kingdom. Cling to GOD, dig your life roots deeply in Him and pray to be navigated by His Holy Spirit in times such as these, where the waters of justice are muddied and murky. Flip It ~ Anger

Are you angry? Flip It. Be intentionally kingdom cultured. This persecution, it has just begun. Our culture has changed up what is right to be wrong and what is wrong to be right. They have a big voice in our main stream media, so what is over for us is “tolerance” and civility for what is right. It doesn’t matter what President is in the White House at this point, if it is a conservative, with Godly values, they will be persecuted, just like this President has. We all have ideals, they differ, yet in this season it isn’t the ideals that are hated it is the person with the ideals that is hated. We can’t be like that, we have to flip-it, be intentionally kingdom cultured to love the sinner and hate the sin.

God Still Fights For Us

People who serve no power higher than self, will do what it takes to lift up self, including and not stopping at dehumanizing people. They will steal, kill and destroy with no compassion, no civility, no common sense and no after thought of the violence they have rendered, no repentance, no change. This is a new era of violent mobs that has suddenly been thrust upon us, challenging our security, but what hasn’t changed is our God. He fights for us. He is the Savior; we are the servants of the Savior. Never change up these roles. We can’t save, we can serve. So, we live in a time where we can’t navigate clearly, so much deception, therefore we live out of followship of God’s Holy Spirit. There is a great God adventure ahead for us as we raise up a standard of right in a world desperately wanting to go the wrong way. We will be pressing against the cultural current. But as we have seen in our heavenly hindsight, God is with us, no matter what happens, that never changes. Justice will come, if not on this side of heaven, it will come, no doubt about it. We serve a God of Justice. He won this battle and He has also won the war. We give Him praise and we pray it all up to Him, depending on Him.

Grateful For Our Advocate

Thank you, Lord for answering our prayers to thwart evil plans and bring secreted deceptive things, hidden in the dark, into the Light of revealed truth. We love you Lord, not for answered prayer as much as for You being with us as our Advocate, Our Friend. Jesus, You believe in us, You equip us, prepare us and intentionally kingdom culture us for our good and for the glory of Your Kingdom. Lord God, it is such a privilege to be loved by You. We are so grateful to be Yours, to partner with You in this life, to be taught every single day by Your Holy Spirit and to know, no matter what we face here, that we have a great forever future and hope with You. We are grateful. Thank you for loving us more than well, more than we, Your people, could ever hope for or imagine.

Life Is Bumpy

You know what I love about the “bumpy processes” of life, you bounce high up from them, so much so your faith touches the heart of God and you grow more in those kind of “trampoline” life experiences, where you experience all the emotions of the way up and way down. These bumpy life experiences, are grow through times and we learn more than you would ever know or grow through if your life was just a boring easy path. Flip It. Don’t go the way of the culture, be intentionally kingdom cultured, be strong and courageous in these times. Choose to step out of the comfort zone erected around your life. God said the way would not be easy, BUT THEN AGAIN, HE also said, He would be with us. With HIM as our Advocate… it is a crazy ride… we lose our stomach, but when the ride stops, we are right at the destination He purposefully chose for us. Amazing God we serve. Flip It and shake up your comfort zone and let the fun begin, a Great God Adventure.
