The Word of God is living and active in us, especially the promises of God, these shape the passion of our faith, knowing that God is faithful to His Promises and they are trustworthy in their potential and possibility because of Him. Our Way Of Life Is Changing~ The Old Has Died~ The New Is Ushered In Through Peace.
Change is so hard Lord God, especially if we are so used to living one way and now that way is changing and is so drastically different. We mourn for what was, and get stuck in our nostalgia as we feel sad over the death of civility like we once knew, we grieve like those who are stuck in anguish over our hindsight. People are hurting people over who knows what, over what people think they know, over the false narratives they have been spoon fed. To be a peacemaker, we must surrender our grief to God, we must yield our human conditioned reactions to God and we must fully face God, submitting to His way, truth and life and then respond out of the navigation of His Holy Spirit. We lament over the truth we know, that people are stealing from people, destroying other’s livelihoods and cowardly killing other people in angry mobs. It is a sad time; we are grieving the loss of compassion and civility towards one another. Jesus, we pray to grow through this grief, to be led by You and in followship of You. We look to You to be navigated to peaceable Godly wisdom that assists us in being honest, speaking truth in love, and caring about others, being interested in their lives and back stories. We pray to be navigated, led by Your Holy Spirit, through this grief to the new things You have for us, Jesus, no matter what they may look like. We rest our hope in you, and we wholly-holy trust You first, listen up to You first, and yield our reactions to You, hoping for our response to be led by Your Holy Spirit.

We Can Be Led By The Power Of Grace And The Strength Of Godly Wisdom. We are facing many trials in times such as these. They are all different, yet they all seem to be very gut wrenching. These are not easy times to navigate. What is right is wrong and what is wrong is right. Persecution comes to us as we stand on the right side of right. We often feel overwhelmed by our compassion fatigue as good is bullied and justice is blind. We need the Grace and wisdom of God. We can’t just go through these days of lawlessness and incivility without being in followship of God. The purposes of God are in flow every single day, we need to step into the flow of God’s Grace to grow through a life season such as this one. Lord, help us to know without a doubt that You are in control. We pray to stay in a vital-vertical relationship with You, especially now that our comfort zone has been so radically and God purposefully disrupted by so many things which we have no clue how to navigate. You, Jesus are wise and good, help us to cling to You, dig our life roots deeply in Your Kingdom. Help us to live and have our being inside of Your Kingdom Perspective, being intentionally kingdom cultured by Your Holy Spirit. Let it be so. Amen.

In times such as these, we need to guard our hearts and diligently know the heart attitudes that are dominating our inner spiritual core. Heart attitudes matter, they generate our motives and actions. How we spontaneously react to something is a sure sign of our inner heart attitudes. Lord Jesus, help us to purify our inner spiritual core, begin with our heart attitudes, change them up to reflect Your character. Help us Holy Spirit, not to be people who are satisfied to assume or speculate, but help us to reach towards the excellence of truth in all things, especially in the condition of our inner spiritual core. Strengthen us from the inside out, Jesus, with Your Truth. We yield our minds to Your Spirit of Truth. We are yours, always have been, so we pray Jesus, to have the strength and wisdom to submit the all of our lives wholly-holy to You.

Purify Our Minds, So Our Heart And Actions Are Like Yours, Jesus. What we think about, we act like. Civility begins in the mind; we must discipline our minds to receive only truth. Assumptions – Speculations – False Narratives need to be purged from our thinking. Lord Jesus, if we are anxious, if we are bitter, if we are violently angry, let us clean up our mind by the power and guidance of Your Holy Spirit. Jesus lead us by Your discernment, help us to take all thoughts captive that are false narratives, because false narratives leads to a fake reality where our heart never enters into the equation that leads to our callous actions. Jesus, teach us the why to our lack of compassion and common sense and help us to change it up. If we act cold-heartedly without compassion, wisdom or common sense, help us to smash the idol in our lives that we are sacrificing these things to.

The Truth Is, We Have An Enemy, Who Wants To Steal, Kill And Destroy Us. We need to acknowledge this truth, but not be paralyzed with fear because of it. We acknowledge the enemy in play, we glance, we don’t react, then we turn and fully face God, looking and listening up to God first. The reality of truth is that God will not abandon us to the will of our enemy. God’s Holy Spirit in us, will navigate us through these violent, lawless days, where people in our government are being used by evil and we are being affected by corrupted authority, which knows no power higher than self. Way-Maker God we ask You to light our way in the darkness of lawlessness, and make us wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Help us Father God, with Your gifted knowledge, to outwit our enemy without violent retaliation, angry words or sinful reactions. Jesus, lead us to respond out of Your wisdom, give us the strength and provision to protect ourselves from the violent attacks of our enemy. Father God, we yield ourselves to You, committing to You, that we will not bow to the enemy of God, we will humbly bow to God, looking to You to empower us with an offensive plan, of tactical wisdom and common sense.
