Bow Humbly Before God
All we can do that matters in times such as these, is bow before God and pray, humbly asking for God’s forgiveness for what we all have done to corrupt our nations. We all have sinned and fallen short, and no human being can fix this mess we all have created. Apart from God, we are not good. There isn’t one of us who hasn’t fleshed out. All of us, at some time or another, we have served or are still serving no power higher than self. When you turn on the bright light of humility, darkness shatters in your soul. We must humble ourselves in prayer before our God.
The Fear of God~10 Who among you has true fear and reverence of Yahweh? Who of you listens to the voice of his servant? Are any of you groping in the dark without light? Let him trust in the faithful name of Yahweh and rely on his God. 11 But if you presume to light your own torch, you are playing with fire. Pray For Mercy
People have given it their best effort to untangle this crooked path our world finds itself on, this stank created by deplorable human actions, but to no avail, it has just made it worse. We human beings, apart from God, have kindled our own fires and walked by the light of a man-made fires and these fires have flamed out, leaving us all in tormenting darkness. This human mess can only be trumped by God’s mercy. So, we turn back to God and we pray for Mercy for our nations and we hope for God’s Mercy to be the miraculous agent of change our hearts and minds so desperately need. Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy. Pray It Up.
