Postured In Christ

I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior. He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me? God said to me once and for all, “All the strength and power you need flows from me!” And again I heard it clearly said, “All the love you need is found in me!” Psalms 62:1-2; 11-12a

God Rights The Sideward Keel Of Our Human Condition

Jesus, He is still here with us, He is our ONE, our first and our foremost. Our lives should be centered around Him, His Word, His Spirit, His Mission. He is still here with us, are we wholly-holy here with Him, present with Him. We have a very snarky culture in times such as these, the authority of the day is illegitimate, which means stolen for self-gain instead of service, and that makes it dangerous for us and the survival of our family values. Truth is illusive and starting to be rarely spoken, heard or lived. Yet God, despite of all of our human foolishness, He is still here, He is still for us. God can be our focus, He can be the Rulership of Love that we position our lives underneath, and He is our purpose, our One: way, truth and life as we posture our life in His and He uprights the tilting keel of our human condition.

Isaiah 45:16 I will walks the blind by an unknown way and guide them on paths they’ve never traveled. I will smooth their difficult road and make their dark mysteries bright with light. These are things I will do for them, for I will never abandon my beloved ones. Simmons, Brian. The Book of Isaiah: The Vision

Jesus Rights My Keel

The human condition is horrible outside of God’s direction, outside of submission to God, we make the worst choices. In the darkness of self-power, our understanding is limited and that makes us ignorant.  We need God. Make it personal with God, and change it up to a purity of righteousness not available to humanity without Him. Walk with God. There is no better way to do life. From every moment to every choice, be God Navigated. This is true living. Christ in us the hope of glory. I acknowledge that I do have a human condition and without God, I can be snarky, judgmental and mean spirited, but with Him there is a beautiful spirit of life within me that changes things up in my human nature, to caring, kindness, civility and unconditional love. I am a ship wreck without God, but with Him, with Jesus, “righting” my keel of my human condition, we are beautiful together. I am postured in Christ; my crooked places are made straight.

“Jesus, you are the delight of heaven. You are fathomless beauty swirling inside of me. All of your mystery is contained within my flesh. All of your glory has been entrusted to someone as fragile as me. I honor all that you are and stand in awe—not only for who you are but for who you are in me.” Simmons, Brian; Rodriguez, Gretchen.

Without God

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on and loving-kindness for us, for we are exceedingly satiated with contempt. Our life is exceedingly filled with the scorning and scoffing of those who are at ease and with the contempt of the proud (irresponsible tyrants who disregard God's law). Psalm 123:3-4

With God

BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who fears, reveres, and worships the Lord, who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. Ps. 1:1-2 Psalm 128:1

“God’s mercy doesn’t slam the gavel upon our sin and leave us to suffer his wrath. Instead, his kindness leads us to repentance. His perfect justice brings conviction, and we cannot help but bow in humility, crying out for his refining fire. We trust his judgment because he clearly discerns between what is holy and what is not. There is no partiality with God. No prejudice clouds his vision. He not only convicts of sin, he has made a way for us to be cleansed.” Simmons, Brian; Rodriguez, Gretchen.

And from our very beginning we have faced never-ending discrimination. Nevertheless, our enemies have not defeated us. We’re still here! They have hurt us more than can be expressed, ripping us to shreds, cutting deeply into our souls. But no matter what, the Lord is good to us. He is a righteous God who stood to defend us, breaking the chains of the evil ones that bound us. Psalms 129:2-4

A Better Person As Jesus Rights My Keel

I am a better person when Jesus, My ONE, has total access to my life, and that is why I give my life wholly-holy to Him so when I step into relationship on this day, people get the best of me, and that best is Jesus, His way, truth and life. Life is not about me, it is about Him. With God, I am less opinionated, less assumptions, less speculations, less judgmental, less critical, less anxious and more civil, more wise, much more compassionate, very loving, and I am trusting of God, trustworthy for others, and I have a lot of common sense in play in my life as I stand on the side of truth. Christ In Me Rights My Keel

Christ in me, that is Who you hear when I speak. The, Holy Spirit of God, our Advocate, Who will never let you go, Who continuously rights our keel, so our hearts can be wholly-holy Gods. Keeping it personal with God, in humility and AWE of Him, this is how we grow forward in times such as these where our human condition can’t navigate, where we can’t chart our own course as the cultural chaos grows wilder and our country tilts to the left. Our first step out each day needs to be bowed down before God, in total surrender and AWE of Him, making that heart-to-heart connection, opening our hearts wide to His Navigation. Tough times we live in, but the greatest of joys is in the GOD Adventure of each day as we stay in followship of Him and stand for Him, positioned in His way, truth and life. God bless you, MUCH!
