Praise

Parched And Weary Soul

Where there is a life season of hardness and my soul feels parched, dry and weary, do I just roll with it until the heat of the trial overcomes me? No! I praise God. I stretch my praise beyond how I am feeling, it is called a sacrifice of praise. I have nothing in me in this human condition, this reaction to everything in my worldly viewpoint going in a wreak havoc way. The enemy of my soul is in full out warfare against me and my soul feels parched by the heat of this trial. I desperately need You, Jesus. I know You are here in the midst of this deplorable life season where evil is full out attacking everything that is good. This era of time where evil has deceived and blinded people to believe that good is bad and bad is good. Oh, how my soul hurts to see such despicable deception in play where our enemy is using people to do horrific things and then act like they are not doing them at all, blaming those who are innocent of the crime for what they are actually doing, in the darkness of illegitimate, corrupt human authority that has corrupted absolutely. It is a sad life season as we experience so much evil in play in our worldly viewpoint. Oh, God, we desperately need You. I know You are with us, working for our good in the unseen.

Stretch – Stretch Past Your Worldly Viewpoint

Stretching past what I see, remembering the truth that I only see in part, God see’s in full (1 Corinthians 13: 9-13). I stand on this truth, knowing in my heart God’s purposes are in play in the unseen (2 Corinthians 4:15-18) and there is a good endgame ahead for me. I praise God. I thank Him for being here with me in this life season where my soul is so parched by the evil all around me. I am so grateful that God, Almighty God finishes what He starts. (Philippians 1:3-6) I praise Jesus. He is my Deliverer, my Fortress, My Oasis in this parched life (Psalm 63) season. Stretching past sadness to praise, I am invigorated with God’s joy and it becomes a strength for my soul, like no other. A sacrifice of praise becomes a dry soul, revitalized by God’s living water (John 4:13-14). Praise You Father God, my Provider in the all of my everything. Praise You Holy Spirit, my Navigator, Who stretches me past what I see, feel and experience to the hope of future victory in Jesus, my Resurrected King, The Victor. (Matthew 28: 3-7) In my gratefulness for My Father, the Proof, My Savior, Jesus, The Proven, and My Precious Holy Spirit, with me, The Prover, there is rest for my soul in this parched, dry, weary life season. I know the JOY of a sacrifice of praise and it refreshes my soul, navigating me to the Oasis of God’s Presence. God with Us. JOY! (Psalm 30) I can walk in the victory Jesus has already provided me when the devil’s temporary defeats bludgeon my soul, my shield of faith takes the blows and my heart remains guarded, wholly-holy in love with God, and on mission with His Kingdom. Awe-GOD!

Stretch Past Parched To Living Water

I have stretched my worldly viewpoint to Your Kingdom perspective, through Your Living Word. My joy is restored, my soul sings in praise of my Awe-God! I can see clearly now, the fog of disappointment, desperation and dismay has been lifted by a sacrifice of praise. The land I live in is still dry with deplorable deception in play, yet my soul is no longer parched, the living water of Jesus is overflowing my soul with joy and strength. I have a kingdom perspective, knowing that God is at work and my enemy, his time is limited, God’s victory is already won. My enemy has been silenced, I clearly hear God and I know, without a doubt, this battle is His and He’s got this. Jesus, the Victor. I praise You, my King. Jesus!

1 Corinthians 13: 9-13 TPT
Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, 10but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways. 12 For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. 13 Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.

2 Corinthians 4:15-18 TPT Yes, all things work for your enrichment so that more of God’s marvelous grace will spread to more and more people, resulting in an even greater increase of praise to God, bringing him even more glory! 16So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. 17We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, 18because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.

Philippians 1:3-6 AMP
I thank my God in every remembrance of you, always offering every prayer of mine with joy [and with specific requests] for all of you, [thanking God] for your participation and partnership [both your comforting fellowship and gracious contributions] in [advancing] the good news [regarding salvation] from the first day [you heard it] until now. I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].

John 4:13-14 AMP
Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. 14But whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. But the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water [satisfying his thirst for God] welling up [continually flowing, bubbling within him] to eternal life.”

Matthew 28:3-7 AMP
The angel’s appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were as white as snow. The guards shook, paralyzed with fear [at the sight] of him and became like dead men [pale and immobile]. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said [He would]. Come! See the place where He was lying. Then go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee [as He promised]. There you will see Him; behold, I have told you.” So the women left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy, and ran to tell [the good news to] the disciples.

Psalm 30: 1-5 TPT
Lord, I will exalt you and lift you high, for you have lifted me up on high! Over all my boasting, gloating enemies, you made me to triumph. O Lord, my healing God, I cried out for a miracle and you healed me! You brought me back from the brink of death, from the depths below. Now here I am, alive and well, fully restored! O sing and make melody, you steadfast lovers of God. Give thanks to him every time you reflect on his holiness! I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy.

    1. Yes, we do. It hurts so much to see good lifted up as bad and bad lifted up as good. But, we believe God has a plan, He is exposing and expunging evil deeds and this is a part of His plan. His endgame is good and we praise Him for always knowing what is best and the best way to get there, even though it is a way we would never take, we acknowledge HE KNOWS what He is doing and we trust Him.
