They treat the wounds of my people as though they were scratches. They say, ‘Peace, everything is well,’ when there is no peace, and nothing is well. Although they have acted shamefully and committed abhorrent acts, they feel no shame; they don’t even know how to blush. They will fall among the fallen and stumble in their time of reckoning, I, Yahweh , have spoken.” Yahweh said to his people: “Stand at the crossroads. Now, consider your ways and ask for the ancient paths. Which is God’s way? Walk on his path, and you’ll enjoy a resting place for yourselves. But they said, ‘We will not. That’s not the path we want. Jeremiah 6:14-16
Stolen Rights
Cruelty is not the path we want. Hurting people and feeling no remorse like in Jeremiah’s time. God spoke out against such abhorrent acts. It is hard to believe that people, created in the Image of God can be so cruel. They play with your lives like you are nothing. People devaluing people as they try to control them, manipulate them, and micromanage them, by stealing from them something that God has given them, gifted them with, freedom and liberty that is a God given right. We Lament And Pray Over These Losses And Ask God To Change It Up.
Why We Lament?
The loss of the things and people that have been stolen from you, can bring about a deep grief in your soul. You feel grief all day long, you are never separated from it, you cry when you go to bed, you cry when you get up, and depression enters your soul. The thing about grief is that it is personally yours, and nobody can understand it. Even when you share it, they want you to get over it. They can never perceive the depth of your personal grief. They don’t want you to grow through it, just get over it. But God Does Understand, And This Is Why We Lament To Our God. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement Video:
Shared Sorrow
The only one who understands your grief is God, and when you lament with Him in prayer, the ONE who knows you from the inside out, the ONE Who knows you the best, you’ll receive comfort that is miraculous. Not only do you receive from Him, peace that washes over the grief, but you know, without a doubt, that He will take the lamenting from your soul, and He will intercede for you before the Father God. He understands the deep disappointments of the human condition, and how human beings hurt one another so cruelly. Jesus, has been there, and He completely understands that grief of soul. Lamenting To Jesus Is A Shared Grief And A Shared Sorrow Is A Bearable Sorrow.
So all of this magnifies the truth that we have a superior covenant with God than what they experienced, for Jesus himself is its guarantor! As additional proof, we know there were many priests under the old system, for they eventually died and their office had to be filled by another. But Jesus permanently holds his priestly office, since he lives forever and will never have a successor! So he is able to save fully from now throughout eternity, everyone who comes to God through him, because he lives to pray continually for them. He is the High Priest who perfectly fits our need—holy, without a trace of evil, without the ability to deceive, incapable of sin, and exalted beyond the heavens! Hebrews 7:22-26

Have you felt that soul punch in the gut from the cruelty of a loved one that takes your breath away, and the soul pain is so intense that the hurt is more than your emotions can bear?! Have you ever cried out to God: “I can’t breathe, it hurts so much, please Father God, this is way to much for me to bear. I have suffered through this for way too long, I can’t endure it anymore.” What do you do with that intense of soul pain? We Lament To God In Prayer! No Safer Place For Lamenting
When We Grieve, We Are Enveloped In The Arms Of Our Triune God, There Is No Safer Place To Pour Out The Lament In Our Soul. We are blessed beyond measure by our AweGod Who loves us above and beyond all we could ever imagine or hope for! So, if we are in a season of weeping, know joy is coming. And Precious Friends in Christ, we can be assured if we are planting the seed of God’s Word, praying it with an active faith, and investing the Kingdom of God in the lives of others, we know that a huge harvest will come as God answers our Lamenting Prayer! AweGod! “God blesses you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. God blesses you who weep now, for in due time you will laugh.” Luke 6:21 We struggle, strive, and create more and more strife and disunity between us. “The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. Psalm 33:17 We FORGET we can’t save ourselves You, Jesus, are the Savior! Salvation is a gift that we did not fight for or win! God Wins! We Remember How Much God Is For Us, We Remember How Much We Are Abundantly Loved.
The meek will overflow with fresh joy in the Lord Yahweh , and the poor will shout their praises to the Holy One of Israel! For the terrible one will be no more, the scornful jester will not be found, and all the lovers of evil will be cut off. Those who make the innocent appear guilty, those who ensnare others with deceitful tactics, and those who lie to keep the innocent from getting justice will likewise be destroyed. Isaiah 29:19-21
Position Your Heart – Wholly-Holy Aligned
Lamenting begins with positioning your heart, with God’s heart, sitting humbly in God’s Presence, your heart wholly-holy aligned with His. Adoration is not something you necessarily would want to step into when you are feeling deep soul grief, but it is the very thing that breaks the chains of the enemy off your soul. So, in my deep soul pain, I began to Adore God for Who He is, His incredible nature, and character, and weeping in my grief, I cried out to God, worshipping Him, breathing in His Presence, exhaling adoration. It was so freeing for my soul, and I lamented in prayer, and wept even more as God’s Strong Presence enveloped me. I realized that a missing ingredient of my spiritual growth through my very hard life seasons, was Lamenting In Adoration of My God. Adoration brings you up to a whole new level, up to heavenly places, that leave the worldly viewpoint behind. and open the door to a Kingdom Perspective. Adoration gives us the keen insight that we are but finite flesh, and Jehovah Sabaoth is the Lord of Heaven and Earth. Out of this Adoration of spirit, our heart to heart prayer of lamenting, and in our soul weakness, floods in God’s strength. Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video
Lament With Adoration Like This:
I adore You and worship You, Yeshua, the One Who protects me from my enemy, and You see me, when they try to cancel who I am, the Identity God has given me. Yeshua, You are the One Who sees me in this soul pain… I cry out to You, I adore You, My Jehovah Sabaoth, the One Who has complete authority over the enemy of my soul, and my Lord of Hosts, Who will fight for me. My heart is breaking, I know You will heal me, My Jehovah Rapha mending and restoring me, My Soul Healer, and my Jehovah El Sali, the strengthener of my soul, the maintainer of my strength in my wounded soul weakness! I cry out to You in my heart pain, and I adore You, my Precious El Roi, the One Who sees me. You see me, You see my soul anguish, You Hear me, You understand me. I adore You Yahweh Nissi, my banner over me, my victory in this spiritual warfare where cruelty has dealt me such a horrific blow, and I am so grateful You are with me, my spiritual knees are weak, and I feel like I am going to fall, I can’t stand alone in this, You support me Father God. YES, I will not dead end in this pain, my enemy will not conqueror me, because Jehovah Tsidkenu, You are my righteousness, Jehovah El Emeth, you teach me how to keep my heart pure, and lean out of bitterness into Jehovah Mekoddishkem, the Lord Who Sanctifies me. El Gibhor, Mighty God, you save me out of everything, Your mighty to save, and Your arm is not too short, Adonai, Lord and Master over all. Awe-GOD comfort me!
And thanks be to God, for in the past you were servants of sin, but now your obedience is heart deep, and your life is being molded by truth through the teaching you are devoted to. And now you celebrate your freedom from your former master—sin. You’ve left its bondage, and now God’s perfect righteousness holds power over you as his loving servants. I’ve used the familiar terms of a “servant” and a “master” to compensate for your weakness to understand. For just as you surrendered your bodies and souls to impurity and lawlessness, which only brought more lawlessness into your lives, so now surrender yourselves as servants of righteousness, which brings you deeper into true holiness. For when you were bound as servants to sin, you lived your lives free from any obligation to righteousness. Romans 6:17-20
Write Your Prayer Of Lament… This Is Mine
Lord God, my prayer of lament is humbly offered to You, as my need for Your intervention is clear. I acknowledge I need Your help, My enemy condemns me, and has continued to punish me because of a “Be Lame” mentality that is from the lies of assumptions, that falsely accuse me. It has been a continued and grossly exaggerated punishment, meted out through the human condition of narcissistic control, bad counsel, and condemnation, all of these with the worst kind of cruelty. The enemy of my soul has struck deep within my heart to destroy me, condemn me, hurt me, and punish me for something I did not do. I trust You Jesus, You are The Fixer, Deliverer, and Way-maker, out of this crooked place. I yield to Your navigation, Holy Spirit, I trust in Your Deliverance, Jesus, and Father God, I know You are with me and for me. Amen!
In Our Spiritual Battles, Be Just Like Him
When you are attacked by a narcissist, it is not the person, it is a spiritual battle, the enemy of your soul has falsely accused you, and you will feel a lot of strong soul emotions like: anger, hatred, bitterness, which when mixed together can create cement in your soul that can hardened your heart. You can settle this kind of emotional attack with the very example of Jesus, innocent, yet took the beating for us, and sinless, yet took all our sins, and died our death through the cruelty of deceived human beings. Jesus said: “Father forgive them, they know not what they do. Your soul can rejoice in this same forgiveness, and it will completely free you from anger, bitterness, and revenge. When you turn to Jesus with a lamenting prayer, you will not be a product of your human condition, You will become “Just Like Him”, Jesus. Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video:
A Lamenting Prayer Is A Beautiful Thing
I Praise God in my lamenting prayer, grief, and the weeping of my soul, because of His Omniscience, He knows all. He knows hearts, thoughts, motives, He sees it all. He has me covered on all sides with His all knowing nature. There isn’t a moment I am alone in my soul pain, He is with me, He will never leave me or forsake me… and I praise Him for His magnificent Character, His purity of Agape Love, where even in my imperfect human condition, I am perfectly loved. So, if you find yourself grieving a loss so deep, you can’t even put it in words, you feel like you can’t even breathe because it hurts so much, it is my great pleasure to tell you, that when you humbly yield to God, and lament in prayer with God, He is your gain, and everything you thought you have lost, you will realize, that through God, purposefully so, You have gained increased relationship with Jesus, You have been given something worth more value than what You could ever lose on this earth. The things you feel, that you have lost, that You can never get back, they fade away in the light of God’s glorious and magnificent comfort, that You will find when you turn to God and lament in prayer with Him. The Father God saves your every tear, and Jesus takes your prayer of lament and intercedes on Your behalf in the Presence of The Father God, as the Holy Spirit of God holds you up with a strength that soul saturates your broken heart. The Prayer Of Lament, Is A Beautiful Thing!
Yield To God
There is no darkness to deep that God’s light of hope can’t penetrate, and there is no vessel to broken that He can’t repair and create a stunning broken vessel of light. Lamenting is beautiful, purposeful, and miraculous. I am seriously humbled by the power of God found in a lamenting prayer before Him. Lamenting Prayer: 1st) connect heart to heart with God; 2nd) Adore Him for Who He is, addressing Him with praise and adoration; 3rd) Tell God about your situation and ask Him for what you need; 4th) Give God all the affirmation of His character and nature as You express your trust in Him and His Promises; 5th) Praise God in reverent, joyful, and humble worship, for Who He is and what He Is able to do, and open your heart wide to Him, yield your life and your life issue to Him, and His Holy Spirit’s navigation. Lament, Cry Out To God And Yield To Him, All Your Feelings, Tears, And Preconceived Ideas, And Let Go, Let God Work, Hope Joyously In Him.
Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace, as you trust in Him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope! Romans 15:13
