Jesus, You created and it was good. Why is it that we are so uncomfortable in our skin as you have made us? We keep remaking ourselves to be something we are not. We are posers living in a fake reality, supported by false narratives. This is not what You wanted for us. You wanted freedom from all deception, You wanted us to live in the reality of truth. Trying to be something you are not is so exhausting, and puts us into such bondages. We were born purposefully to a time such as this, to the place God designed, with the body, spirit, mind, and soul God shaped for us. There isn’t anything about us that is not soaked in the purpose of God. We are people of purpose, God’s purpose swirls around us, is in play always for us, as His purposeful plans for us take shape every single day. Don’t try to fit in when you were purposefully shaped and born to stand out as God’s unique one.

When we surrender to God, we yield all of our wants, desires and expectations to Him and step out into the fullness of His purpose, for a day such as this one and we grow through, purposefully so in the power, provision and promise of God. What is it that keeps us in bondage, keeps us trapped in our comfort zone? Fear of the unknown, fear to experience new things, fear that we are not enough? We are locked in our comfort zone as fear entraps us and as we embrace the falsity of fear over the truth of God, this truth that clearly speaks that we were born to stand out. Be bold, be strong, be courageous and walk against the current that wants you to fit in and go its way.
We were created for the God adventure of the purposes of God in play in our lives every single moment to every single choice. We are never without the purpose and promise of God being shaped into our lives, so we can stand out and don’t have to fight the cultural currents of fitting in. The truth is, God is with us always, the very One Who shaped us, is the very One Who is able, so very able to finish what He started in us. So, we shake off fear, we lay down unbelief, doubt, anxiety and we step into the flow of God’s purposes, hand in hand with His Sovereign will and His Infinite Love and we become wholly-holy His, walking with Him, experiencing every God purpose in play for us, being shaped by Him, heart to heart.
