Fleshed Out ~ Soul Trashed
Lawlessly, we buck up our wills against God, we reject His Supremacy, we disrespect His ways and fail miserably. Independently from His Holy Spirit’s direction, we create our own shadow rulership, an illegitimate human supremacy, which knows no power higher than self; an absolute human control, that corrupts absolutely. BUT, no doubt about it, we will flesh out, and bottom out when we kindle our own fires, and walk by the light of a man-made fire that will flame out. And when we sit in the darkness we have bent; we experience the torture of human failure that comes in like a flood. When we separate ourselves from God, we become a soul trashed, a spirit wounded, a depressed heart, sitting at the lowermost pit of our life story. Yet, even so, we are not alone, God will not forsake us. Our Father God, He has the farthest reach and at our bottom, we are still in reach of Him.
God’s Infinite Love
There is no place God will not go and nothing God will not do to save us. We saw that in real time as Jesus came here, He came to us, here on earth, He came to die our death, so we could live His life. Jesus will still be there, sitting beside us, waiting for us to ask and receive His forgiving, unconditional, powerful, life-changing, restoring, renewing love. No Doubt About It. Our God means for us to live with Him forever and He, being a gentleman, does not force us to believe in Him, to live with Him and for Him. God will wait until our free-will exhausts itself and comes back to Him, the only One Who can transform us, shape us and breathe the breath of eternal life into our soul. At the bottom of our dark life-pit, at the mention of the name of Jesus darkness is shattered and God grips us in an endless embrace, enlightening our spirit with His forever Truth and Life and begins the healing process in us, meeting us where we are at, His purposes are set in play with the vision of us becoming wholly-holy His, our identity completely in Him.
Isaiah 50:7-7 The Lord Yahweh empowers me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason, with holy determination, I will do his will and not be ashamed. 8 The One who makes me righteous is close to me. Who would dare challenge me now? Who would be my opponent? Let him stand before me! Who is my accuser? Let him confront me! It is the Lord Yahweh who empowers me; who would condemn me? My accusers will all fade away like worn-out, moth-eaten clothes. The Fear of God Who among you has true fear and reverence of Yahweh? Who of you listens to the voice of his servant? Are any of you groping in the dark without light? Let him trust in the faithful name of Yahweh and rely on his God. But if you presume to light your own torch, you are playing with fire. So go ahead, walk in the light of your own fires and the sparks you have kindled. But I can promise you this: it will take you down into torment! The Passion Translation
