The Freedom Of Truth

Proverbs 6:16-19~Seven Things God Hates~ There are six evils God truly hates and a seventh that is an abomination to him: 17 Putting others down while considering yourself superior, spreading lies and rumors, spilling the blood of the innocent, 18 plotting evil in your heart toward another, gloating over doing what’s plainly wrong, 19 spouting lies in false testimony, and stirring up strife between friends. These are entirely despicable to God! The Passion Translation

Hypocrisy Reveals Truth

Lies create a box, they restrict freedom. This is why truth is often revealed quickly, because the deceiver does not want to be boxed in by their own deceit, so they step out of the box and then we see their hypocrisy. This is obviously seen in our political season. In this season of time, we have been lied to by politicians and the media that they use to back up their lies. Politicians making up things to align with their agenda to control the narrative, they craftily speak deceit, shaping and forming their lies. But the problem is, they also become boxed in by the lack of freedom their lie has created. Boxed in by their lies, they step out in their exclusive culture and do what they have said to us, not to do and their lie is revealed through their hypocrisy.

John 8:44 “You are the offspring of your father, the devil, and you serve your father very well, passionately carrying out his desires. He’s been a murderer right from the start! He never stood with the One who is the true Prince, for he’s full of nothing but lies—lying is his native tongue. He is a master of deception and the father of lies! We live in a culture of deceit where we are culturalized everyday by what people want us to hear, not the truth but what they need us to know. Made up stories, rationalizations and lies are put forth as false narratives rise and truth seemingly takes a back seat. But, with God and His Light, truth is always revealed, it never stays covered over with deceit. Deceit always has a hidden motive and it also boxes the deceiver in. The Passion Translation

The Virus Of Exclusiveness

Exclusiveness is a disease of this culture and it is supported by lies, false narrative and twisted stories that have a semblance of truth, but are not totally truth. I choose this group, this way, this opinion, thus and therefore you are excluded from us, through the lies we create to box you out, but those same lives box the liar in too. People who are exclusive serve no power higher than self, and they lie to put up their barriers that keep others out and keep those they agree with in their tight exclusive, self-righteous circle. Lies, therefore are the enemy of civility and unity. Lies create boxes and barriers and they push people into categories by labeling them through their exclusivity. We live in a culture of exclusivity and we have to work hard to make sure it doesn’t overtake our family as well.

Matthew 15:18-19 But what comes out of your mouth reveals the core of your heart. Words can pollute, not food. 19 You will find living within an impure heart evil ideas, murderous thoughts, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, lies, and slander. The Passion Translation

You Can’t But I Can

Situations are not always as they seem, as people say one thing and do another in times such as these. They say they can’t, they mean they can. They say they can, they mean they can’t. People don’t always mean what they say or say what they mean. People can craft up good explanations for why they do things, but then they always step out of the box that their lie created. They say they can’t do one thing, but they do another thing, which proves they could do what they said they couldn’t do. This is an example of twisting up a lot of lies to try to control an outcome. It never really works out in the end, truth is always revealed, the true heart of the matter exposed. People can be confusing as they deceive in cunning ways, but GOD is always straight forward. Lean into God first. His truth stands the test of time where the deceit of human beings always shows through. People with corrupted authority will make you do what they think is best for you, but truly their motive is different, it is a selfish motive, usually driven by a corrupted agenda and it is always pushing for an endgame that is best for them.

John 8:31-34 The Son Gives Freedom ~ Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, “When you continue to embrace all that I teach, you prove that you are my true followers. 32 For if you embrace the truth, it will release more freedom into your lives.” 33 Surprised by this, they said, “But we’re the descendants of Abraham and we’re already free. We’ve never been in bondage to anyone. How could you say that we will be released into more freedom?” 34 “I speak eternal truth,” Jesus said. “When you sin you are not free. You’ve become a slave in bondage to your sin. The Passion Translation

Live In The Freedom Truth Provides

This is why we don’t follow human beings. Our followship is well placed in God. God is not exclusive, God does not lie, God has no false narrative and God does not twist words to deceive. God speaks truth in that straightforward way and this is the understanding we should seek first. God’s heart is open wide to us, no barriers, no boxes. People make up their own boxes, pushing others outside that they don’t want in, through the temporary power of a lie, a made up story, but that story disseminates when they step outside of the box the lie created for them and you see their hypocrisy. It is kind of cool how God actually exposes their lies through their hypocrisy. Human beings are liars, it is our human condition, one we have to fight to not fall into. We use lies to control outcomes that we want. God never lies, we can be sure when we stay wholly-holy aligned with Him, He will give us the discernment we need to see the reality of truth and live in the freedom of truth.

Philippians 2:3-4 The Passion Translation Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. 4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests.

Self-Righteousness Is A Pride Wrapped Lie

When you confront someone with the truth and they continue to lie through a self-defensive stance, let go and let God deal with it. God is able to reveal truth. Speak the truth in love, let it go and let God work. You are not the prover; the Holy Spirit is the Prover and He is able to do so. Lies box people in and restrict their own freedom and they will eventually step outside of the box their lie created, and truth will be revealed. Lies can be exhausting because you have to keep up the appearance of a lie and you work so hard to do so that it comes off unreal, kind of like flattery does, it is not genuine. Flattery always has a motive behind it, it is a molded bunch of words looking for a specific result, it is controlled by the deceptive motive behind it, therefore there is no truth to it. When someone uses flattery, it always fizzles out, because the flatterer always over compensates to try to hide the true motive behind their words. You tell a lie, you have to keep up the appearance of that lie, but after a while being boxed in by your own lie becomes old and you slither out of the box and the truth is revealed. God is masterful at this, purposefully using the messy life situations that are propped up by the lies of those with self-indulgent motives that are not easily unseen. God always bring the true motives to light. If someone is gushing in self-righteousness, as are covering for someone’s else’s lie this is easily seen as fake. Self-righteousness is a telltale sign that a lie is being propped up with indignance and pride. We see a lot of this going on in our society right now, pride wrapped lies.

Proverbs 19:5 A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free. NIV

No Power Higher Than Self

There are people in authority who know no power higher than self. They have corrupted, selfish motives and they are spinning false narratives faster than they can remember them. They have created all kind of boxes which their lies have formed to exclude others from the freedom they know and imprison them in the bias of a liar. The problem is, these people used by the enemy have underestimated the power of God’s truth and light. It is a paradox of God that a lie will box in a liar and they will eventually step out of their own lie and reveal truth. I love this about our God. Lies do not stand the test of time because the liar does not want to be boxed in by their own lie, so they show their hypocrisy by stepping outside of the boundary they created by their lie.

Ephesians 4:15-16~Living Bible~ Instead, we will lovingly follow the truth at all times—speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly—and so become more and more in every way like Christ who is the Head of his body, the Church. Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly, and each part in its own special way helps the other parts, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

The Freedom Of Truth

We do not need to fear the power of a lie, it is short lived, the truth is always revealed by God. Jesus is our Spirit of Truth and He is the LIGHT of the world. There is no motive, no secreted ill deed, no lie that can escape being exposed by the Light of Jesus. In due time, every lie is brought to the light of truth. Every scheme, so craftily spun by deceptive false narrative will come to the light of truth. No ill willed secret is safe from the light of God, it will be unsecreted. Always remember this, a lie also boxes a liar in its confines and eventually they will step outside of the box they have created for themselves and others, by their lies and this is when their hypocrisy is set forth for all to see. We see this a lot in our society today. People excluding people, boxing them out through lies, but the borders of these false narratives do not hold. A box created by a lie does not make for a good anchor, it does not hold. The anchor of truth is the only one that holds our life in a good place, a place of freedom.
