Yes, so this post is going to be messy, raw, unedited, no grammar, so I am just preparing you in advance. It is way out of my writers comfort zone, so I am sure it will disrupt your reader’s comfort zone. I like a nice, neat and tidy post, but I love my Constant Conversation posts, they are messy and miraculously anointed. This is what I journaled as I listened up to Jesus and digested His Words of truth: “Guard your heart from comparison it is a short pathway to sin. There is a heart treasure awaiting all those who say no to their impulsive nature, wait patiently in trust and hope in God. Patience is never corrupted by doubt, it leads to Godly patterns that stomp the hell out of habitual sin.” Sin is the most deceptive thing on this planet. It has an anticipated, presupposed gain, which may temporarily happen, but when the speculation dries up, it fades the initial enticement with the reality of truth. Truth is, upside down ways, don’t rise to the top with a permanent success, but slowly sink to the bottom in that dead-end kind of way, with an anchor of despair, a weight that won’t ever ease itself upward. We’re All in the Same Sinking Boat So where does that put us? Do we Jews get a better break than the others? Not really. Basically, all of us, whether insiders or outsiders, start out in identical conditions, which is to say that we all start out as sinners. Scripture leaves no doubt about it: There’s nobody living right, not even one, nobody who knows the score, nobody alert for God.
