Generous

F.aithful A.vailable T.eachable

Jesus was so generous with His life, He invested everything in us. Jesus gave His time, talent and treasure to us, He poured Himself out for us. Our lives should reflect this kind of generosity. Living generously is such a blessing, as Jesus pours in, we pour out. This is living F.A.T. Faithful to God, Available to God and Teachable by God. God’s generosity encompasses all these things. Our faithfulness to give what we have been given by God, our availability to God so He can pour into us, and our teachableness so He can lead us, navigating us to purposefully pour out what He has poured into us. This is what generosity looks and plays out like: Generosity is taught by God as He charts our life course daily, and He pours in, and we pour out, God purposefully so. Generosity begins with a heart which is wholly-holy after God alone, yielded to the good of His Kingdom first. Generosity comes in many forms, it is not just about money and things, it encompasses the all of our everything, body, soul, will, mind, spirit all giving of all. Listen up to this wisdom and position your heart in it:

At the end of every three years, bring a tenth of all your produce for that year and store it within your city gates. Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates may come, eat, and be satisfied. And the Lord your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do. Deuteronomy 14:28-29

Creative Blessing

Yes, the Lord will bless you and this is true even on this day as we bring a 10th of our income to God into our church storehouse, He blesses us in so many creative ways. He is true to His Word and I am so thankful for that. The reality of truth on this side of heaven that we all experience is that we can’t outgive God. I stand in honor and reverence of a Giving GOD, knowing I will always have what I need. It is a give-give relationship we have with God. Respect given, respect gained, honor given, honor gained, love given, abundant love gained. The blessing is in the giving of ourselves wholly-holy to God, in this there is true joy given back to our souls. Luke 6:38 Promised. Yet, we don’t give to get, we give to be like Jesus, to resemble Jesus as we enjoy His great love and peace poured out to us.

Generosity Is An Attractive Anointing

Do You Have An Attractive Anointing Of Peace?  Peace leads off with a footprint of selflessness and steps out, pouring out from God what has been poured in us through a vital-vertical relationship with God. Without God in our lives, we have no peace poured in, no peace poured out and no Shalom, we have chaos.  Shalom is the dispensation of God’s purpose towards men and the annihilation of the divisive and targeted chaos the enemy of our soul stirs up in us and in our culture.  In Christ, we have an attractive anointing of His peace, which overflows into the cultural chaos of our time, completely changing it up to God’s way, truth and life. As we bow our hearts before God, He generously pours out His peace in us and it overflows through us, washing away the cultural chaos all around us and leaving Shalom. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement Video about God’s attractive anointing in you and generously through you.

If only you obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow every one of these commands I am giving you today. When the Lord your God blesses you as he has promised you, you will lend to many nations but not borrow; you will rule many nations, but they will not rule you. Deuteronomy 15:5-6

Lean Into God’s Sovereign Sway

Be Generous, generosity leans us into the flow of God’s favor, leans us into His Sovereign sway. Being a giver begins by being a receiver of God.  God’s Promises are reflected in our lives, the promise that we will lend to many nations, but not borrow; we will rule many nations, but they will not rule us. This amazing, miraculous God favor begins as we live generously, not selfishly, but abandoned to generosity, live as those who forgive the debts of others. We do not stumble over the rock of offense, we do not pick up and carry the rock of offense, we live generously in mercy, kindness and truth. This is hard to do, but not impossible as we soul saturate ourselves in the generosity of God’s mercy. I have fallen in this area of picking up the rock of offense, yet God graciously and generously convicts me, forgives me and sets my feet on the path of having a generous heart of mercy, compassion and love. Generosity of heart is a valuable treasure in this life and it emulates the heart of God.

Selflessness Is Key

Selflessness is a key ingredient that leans into the trusting of God for our provision. God is our Provider, God is our Provision. We do not provide for ourselves; we do not have wealth and treasure that we have gained without the hand of God’s Provision. We do not have love, hope, peace, or mercy without it being poured into us first by God. Nothing we have belongs to us, and generosity leans into this truth as giving leans out of it. The love, hope, peace and provision we have gained, comes from being wholly-holy His. God pours into us, so we can pour out of us. Generosity is not just about money and things, it is about all of us, body, soul, spirit, will, mind being poured into by God, so much so, that the all of God overflows to our world. Think on this 1 Minute Encouragement from God and change it up.
